Something to show for it

Posted by Kyle in The Journey |

I am sure some of you will see this entry as bragging of sorts, but I can assure you that is not my intention.

I have been giving all these tips on how to make money online, how to get traffic to your website or blog, and I haven’t even proven to you that I know what I am talking about. So I decided I would show you a little something I got soley from money making online. Its nothing major, but I guess in a way its a little encouragement for those of you who don’t have faith in the moneymaking powers the internet holds. With a little time, work, and dedication, you will be making money in no time.

This is my motorcycle. I just bought it last week from another student of my college. It is a Kawasaki Ninja 500R.

My Motorcycle

Sorry about the poor lighting. It was raining when I took this pic, and I didn’t really want to take it outside. I will take a new one and change it in this entry when I can.

Some of you may think the green is ugly, but if you have been reading my blog, you would know its about making money online. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but money is green ;)

If you keep up with my tips, and even take to heart a few of them here and there, you will be able to make money online as well. There is a good chance you would make more than me! It is an endless learning process, and I am definitely a long way away from a shiney new BMW. Maybe in a few years I will be posting up pictures of one!

A Bit about the Beginning

Posted by Kyle in The Journey |

I got my first computer when I was 11. It was mainly used for playing video games like “Driver”, and “Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine”. I was running Windows 98, with some pretty crappy hardware. It was a good computer for the day, but as with all computers, time caught up to it.

I first started using the internet to create things when I was 13. I got into a browser based game called “Neopets“. On Neopets there is a feature called “Guilds”, which basically allow you to create a little portal page for other users to look at, and if they liked it, they might join your guild. You could use HTML to edit the guild page to your liking. So I got into learning HTML, which was a huge pain for me at 13 years old. Luckily Neopets has a little HTML guide to help the newbies.

After about a year learning HTML, I started making my own HTML websites, nothing major, no moneymakers, but it was enjoyable, and a learning experience. After a while I came across another text based game called “Monocountry“. In Monocountry you basically start off as a criminal, and build up your stats: strength, agility, guard, and attack other players, commit crimes, etc. Really simple. Eventually, the owner of this game released the script to make a game of your own. He also released a new version of the game, and kept the old version up as the “Classic” version, which I eventually convinced him to let me run, and view the code. From that, I learned how to code PHP and MySQL. I got the owner to allow me to bring on a partner, someone you all know as “Cronus”. I showed him a few of the basics, and he went from there and learned to be a great coder.

Eventually we went our separate ways, and I created my own game, while Cronus created mods for the script of the game, and sold them to other game owners. After a while, Cronus started a game called Criminal Vengeance, and then eventually I shut down my game, because the economy was ruined. Cronus sold his game, and we got back to being business partners again when we found a new site, one with a great idea. This site was AdBux. We rushed to get our PTC up, called AdverCash.

Advercash made a lot of cash for us, we were young, and the money was great. We didn’t have to get a job! That was my favorite part. After a while, I sold my shares of AdverCash, and a sister site we created called TitanClicks to Cronus for $10,000. After the sale, I had no source of income, and a lot of spare time, so I decided to start up TurboBux. TurboBux is a PTC just like TitanClicks, and AdverCash, but smaller. It gave me a steady income for a good 6 or 7 months, enough to keep up with my college tuition, but it also ate up all of my time. So, after a few talks with Cronus, we decided to sell TurboBux, PTCTalk, TitanClicks, and the TitanCash Network name. We added it to sitepoint and had a “Buy It Now” offer within an hour.

I am attending the University of Northwestern Ohio, and am majoring in Network Security Administration. My online business adventures have paid for my college so far, and I plan on paying for the rest of it the same way.

So, there is my story. Consider yourself updated on me-ism. I’m sure if you work hard, and take what I say to heart, and mind, and I am sure you will be able to make a similar, and probably more interesting story.

A Grand Introduction

Posted by Kyle in The Journey |

Well, first of all, I would just like to take a moment to welcome you to my blog.

This is a new adventure for me, and a bit more deviated from my last gig, so please bare with me as I make my way through this new and exciting world of blogging. I suppose you are wondering what I am all about, and why I have decided to start up a blog. Well, if you would like to learn a bit about me, please click “Make Money Online” up at the top and read a bit.

Now that you have read that little bio, or whatever you wish to call it, you have a bit better idea of what I am on here for.As you know, I am 19 years old, and I make a good living by working online. You are probably thinking, “I’m not going to sit here and waste my time reading this blog if the writer is only 19 years old!”, well I am going to tell you right now, with that kind of attitude you are probably better off just going back to your dead end job filing those TPS reports with Bob. Au revoir!

If you are still here, thanks for having a more open minded view on things. The internet opens a whole lot of portals to those bags of money you have been daydreaming about, and only with an open mind will you be able to achieve any of those moneymaking goals you have set for yourself. I will try to keep up on posting at least once a day, but forgive me if I skip a weekend day or something.

So, keep in tune with Buck it All, and I will tell you my story, my adventure, my journey to online riches, and you can soak it in, sit on it, let it stew in your mind like some good chicken soup for the wallet.
